James 2:11 - ܗܰܘ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܕ݁ܶܐܡܰܪ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܓ݂ܽܘܪ ܗܽܘ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܶܩܛܽܘܠ ܐܶܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܠܳܐ ܓ݁ܳܐܰܪ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܩܳܛܶܠ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܗܘܰܝܬ݁ ܠܳܟ݂ ܥܳܒ݂ܰܪ ܥܰܠ ܢܳܡܽܘܣܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) For he who hath said, Thou shalt not commit adultery, is he who hath said, Thou shalt not steal; but if thou do not commit adultery, yet steal, thou hast become a transgressor against the LAW.

(Murdock) For he who said, Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also, Thou shalt not kill. If then thou commit no adultery, but thou killest, thou hast become a transgressor of the law.

(Lamsa) For he who said, Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also, Thou shalt not kill. Now if you do not commit adultery, but you kill, you have become a transgressor of the law.

(KJV) For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
