Hebrews 7:18 - ܫܽܘܚܠܳܦ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܗܘܳܐ ܠܦ݂ܽܘܩܕ݁ܳܢܳܐ ܩܰܕ݂ܡܳܝܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܡܚܺܝܠܽܘܬ݂ܶܗ ܘܰܕ݂ܝܽܘܬ݂ܪܳܢ ܠܰܝܬ݁ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But the change which was made in the first institution was on account of its powerlessness, and because profit was not in it.

(Murdock) And the change which was made in the first statute, was on account of its impotency, and because their was no utility in it.

(Lamsa) For the change which took place in the former law, was made on account of its weaknesses, and because it had become useless.

(KJV) For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
