Translations

(Etheridge) By faith Nuch, when spoken with upon those things which had not been seen, feared, and made him the ark for the salvation of his family ^{[The sons of his house]} ; by which he condemned the world, and was an heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

(Murdock) By faith Noah, when he was told of things not seen, feared; and he made himself an ark, for the life of his household; whereby he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

(Lamsa) By faith Noah, when he was warned concerning the things not seen, became fearful and he made an ark to save his household, and by it he condemned the world and he became heir of righteousness which is by faith.

(KJV) By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
