Translations

(Etheridge) By faith they performed the passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that he might not come near,-he, who was destroying the first-born.

(Murdock) By faith, they kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, that he who destroyed the first-born might not approach them.

(Lamsa) Through faith he instituted the passover, and sprinkled the blood, lest he who destroyed the first-born should touch them.

(KJV) Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
