Translations
(Etheridge) And all these have you borne in vain? But would it be in vain? [This division of sections interferes with the sense.]
(Murdock) And have ye borne all these things in vain? And I would, it were in vain !
(Lamsa) Have you believed all these things at random? I hope that it is to no purpose.
(KJV) Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
