Ephesians 5:31 - ܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܢܶܫܒ݁ܽܘܩ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܠܰܐܒ݂ܽܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܠܶܐܡܶܗ ܘܢܶܩܰܦ݂ ܠܰܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܬ݂ܶܗ ܘܢܶܗܘܽܘܢ ܬ݁ܪܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܚܰܕ݂ ܒ݁ܣܰܪ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) Because of this a man leaveth his father and his mother, and cleaveth unto his wife, and they two become one flesh.

(Murdock) For this reason, a man should quit his father and his mother, and adhere to his wife; and the two should be one flesh.

(Lamsa) For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

(KJV) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
