Translations

(Etheridge) But he who ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the low places of the earth ?

(Murdock) Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also previously descended to the interior [regions] of the earth ?

(Lamsa) Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the inner parts of the earth?

(KJV) (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
