Acts 7:6 - ܘܡܰܠܶܠ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܥܰܡܶܗ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܶܗ ܕ݁ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܙܰܪܥܳܟ݂ ܬ݁ܰܘܬ݁ܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܐܪܥܳܐ ܢܽܘܟ݂ܪܳܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܘܰܢܫܰܥܒ݁ܕ݂ܽܘܢܳܝܗ݈ܝ ܘܢܰܒ݂ܶܐܫܽܘܢ ܠܶܗ ܐܰܪܒ݁ܰܥܡܳܐܐ ܫܢܺܝܢ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And Aloha spake with him, telling him that his seed should be a sojourner in a strange land, and that they would enslave and ill-treat them four hundred years.

(Murdock) And God conversed with him, and said to him: Thy seed will be a sojourner in a foreign land; and they will reduce it to servitude, and will treat it ill, during four hundred years.

(Lamsa) God spoke to him and said, Your descendants will be settlers in a foreign land where they will be enslaved and mistreated for a period of four hundred years.

(KJV) And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
