Translations

(Etheridge) And they were persuaded by him, and called the apostles, and scourged them, and commanded them that they should not teach in the name of Jeshu, and loosed them.

(Murdock) And they called the legates, and scourged them, and commanded them not to teach in the name of Jesus, and dismissed them.

(Lamsa) And they listened to him, and they called the apostles, and scourged them, and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

(KJV) And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
