Acts 23:9 - ܘܰܗܘܳܐ ܩܳܠܳܐ ܪܰܒ݁ܳܐ ܘܩܳܡܘ ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܣܳܦ݂ܪܶܐ ܡܶܢ ܓ݁ܰܒ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܦ݂ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܘܢܳܨܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܥܰܡܗܽܘܢ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܳܐ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܚܺܝܢܰܢ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܺܝܫ ܒ݁ܗܳܢܳܐ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܐܶܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܐܰܘ ܡܰܠܰܐܟ݂ܳܐ ܡܰܠܶܠ ܥܰܡܶܗ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܒ݁ܳܗ ܒ݁ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And there was made a great noise. And certain sophree of the choice of the Pharishee arose and contended with them, and said, We have not found any thing of evil in this man; but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken with him, what is there in this ?

(Murdock) And there was great vociferation. And some Scribes of the party of the Pharisees rose up, and contended with them, and said. We have found nothing evil in this man: for if a spirit or an angel hath conversed with him, what is there in that ?

(Lamsa) Then there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the party of the Phar'i-sees rose up, and argued, saying, We find no fault with this man: and if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, there is nothing wrong in that.

(KJV) And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
