Translations

(Etheridge) but most agonized (were they) by that word which he had spoken, that again they were not to see his face. And they accompanied him to the ship.

(Murdock) And they had the most anguish, because of the word he uttered, that they would see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.

(Lamsa) But they were most distressed because of the words he spoke, that they would not see his face again. And they accompanied him to the ship.

(KJV) Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
