Translations

(Etheridge) And the chiefs of the city and all the people were troubled when they heard these things;

(Murdock) And the chiefs of the city and all the people, were alarmed when they heard these things.

(Lamsa) The authorities of the city and all the people were alarmed when they heard these things.

(KJV) And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
