Translations

(Etheridge) And he was just, and feared Aloha, he and all his house: he did much alms among the people, and in all time prayed of Aloha.

(Murdock) And he was righteous, and feared God, he and all his house; [and] he did much alms among the people, and prayed to God at all times.

(Lamsa) A righteous and God-fearing man as were all his household; which gave much alms to the people, and always sought after God.

(KJV) A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
