Translations

(Etheridge) I would have written to the church; but he who loveth to be foremost ^[Kadmoyo.] of you, Diotrapas, receiveth us not.

(Murdock) I was desirous of writing to the church; but he who loveth to be foremost among them, Diotrephes, receiveth us not.

(Lamsa) I wrote to the church, that Di-ot're-phes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, would not receive us.

(KJV) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
