Translations

(Etheridge) For our request he accepted; and because he had great concern, of his own will he hath come forth among you.

(Murdock) For he received our exhortation; and, because he was very anxious, he cheerfully set out to visit you.

(Lamsa) For indeed he has accepted our appeal; and because he was very desirous, he went to you of his own accord.

(KJV) For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.
