2Corinthians 2:7 - ܘܡܶܟ݁ܺܝܠ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܝܳܐܝܺܬ݂ ܘܳܠܶܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܫܒ݁ܩܽܘܢ ܠܶܗ ܘܰܬ݂ܒ݂ܰܝܐܘܽܢܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܠܡܳܐ ܒ݁ܟ݂ܰܪܝܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܝܰܬ݁ܺܝܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܢܶܬ݂ܒ݁ܠܰܥ ܠܶܗ ܗܰܘ ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܗܽܘ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And now on the other hand it behoves you to forgive him and console him, lest he who is such an one be swallowed up of excessive grief.

(Murdock) so that, on the other hand, ye ought to forgive him and console him; lest he who is such a man, should be swallowed up with excessive grief.

(Lamsa) So that from henceforth you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one will be overcome with overmuch grief.

(KJV) So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
