Translations

(Etheridge) For never have we used flattering speech, as you know, nor for an occasion of covetousness, Aloha witnesseth.

(Murdock) For at no time have we used flattering speech; as ye know; nor a cloak of cupidity, God is witness.

(Lamsa) And we have never used flattering words, as you know, to conceal greed; God is witness:

(KJV) For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
