Translations

(Etheridge) while you know that not with silver which wasteth away, nor with gold, you have been redeemed from your vain works which you received from your fathers,

(Murdock) since ye know, that neither with perishable silver, nor with gold, ye were redeemed from your vain doings, which ye had by tradition from your fathers;

(Lamsa) Knowing that you have not been redeemed from your empty works which you have received from your fathers by corruptible silver and gold;

(KJV) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
