Translations

(Etheridge) but my body I subdue and make subservient, lest when to others I shall have preached, I my very self shall be rejected.

(Murdock) but I subdue my body, and reduce it to servitude; lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a reprobate.

(Lamsa) But I conquer and subdue my body so that, by no chance, when I have preached to others, will I despise myself.

(KJV) But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
