1Corinthians 7:8 - ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܠܰܐܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܠܰܝܬ݁ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܢܶܫܶܐ ܘܠܰܐܪܡܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܰܩܳܚ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܶܢ ܢܩܰܘܽܘܢ ܐܰܟ݂ܘܳܬ݂ܝ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But I say to those who have no wives, and to the widows, that it is expedient for them to remain as I do.

(Murdock) And I say to them who have no wives, and to widows, that it is advantageous to them to remain as I am.

(Lamsa) I say this to those who have no wives and to widows, It is better for them to be as I am;

(KJV) I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
