Translations

(Etheridge) BUT respecting virginity, a commandment from Aloha I have not received; but I give counsel as a man who hath had grace from Aloha to be faithful.

(Murdock) And concerning virginity, I have no precept from God; but I give counsels as a man who hath obtained mercy from God to be a believer.

(Lamsa) Now concerning virginity, I have no command from God; yet I give my advice as one who has been favored by God to be trustworthy.

(KJV) Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
