Translations
(Etheridge) So also you, while you are emulous of the gifts of the Spirit for the edification of the church, seek that you may excel.
(Murdock) So also ye, since ye are emulous of the gifts of the Spirit for the edification of the church, seek ye to excel.
(Lamsa) Likewise you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts for the edification of the church, seek that you may excel in these gifts.
(KJV) Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
