Translations

(Etheridge) For, first, when you are assembled in the church, there are divisions, (as) I hear, among you, and in some measure I believe.

(Murdock) Because, first; when ye assemble in the church, there are, I hear, divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

(Lamsa) First of all, when you gather in the church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

(KJV) For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
