Translations

(Etheridge) For sin, by the occasion it found through the commandment, deceived me, and thereby killed me.

(Murdock) For sin, by the occasion which it found by means of the commandment, seduced me; and thereby slew me.

(Lamsa) For sin, finding occasion by the commandment, misled me and by it killed me.

(KJV) For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
