Translations

(Etheridge) But your obedience is known to every one; I rejoice therefore in you, and I wish you to be wise unto good (works), and pure with regard to [those which are] evil.

(Murdock) But your obedience is known to every one. I therefore rejoice in you: and I would have you be wise in what is good, and blameless in what is evil.

(Lamsa) But your obedience is known to every one. I rejoice therefore on your behalf: and I want you to be wise in regard to good things, and pure concerning evil things.

(KJV) For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
