Translations

(Etheridge) It hath been said, that he who looseth his wife should give her a writing of divorcement.

(Murdock) It hath been said, That if a man will put away his wife, he must give her a writing of divorcement.

(Lamsa) It has been said that whoever divorces his wife, must give her the divorce papers.

(KJV) It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
