Translations

(Etheridge) NOW in those days came Juchanon [Or, Yu'hanan.] the Baptizer preaching in the desert of Jehud,

(Murdock) And in those days came John the Baptizer. And he proclaimed in the desert of Judaea,

(Lamsa) IN those days came John the Baptist; and he was preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
