Translations(Etheridge) For in all time the poor you have with you, but me you have not in all time with you.
(Murdock) For the poor ye have at all times with you; but I am not with you always
(Lamsa) For you always have the poor with you, but you will not have me always.
(KJV) For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
