Translations

(Etheridge) And he rolled the book, and gave it to the minister, and went and sat down; but the eyes of all them in the synagogue beheld him.

(Murdock) And he rolled up the book, and gave it to the servitor, and went and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing upon him.

(Lamsa) And he rolled up the scroll and gave it to the attendant, and went and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on him.

(KJV) And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
