Luke 24:29 - ܘܰܐܠܨܽܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܦ݁ܽܘܫ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܰܢ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܗܳܫܳܐ ܪܟ݂ܶܢ ܠܶܗ ܠܡܶܚܫܰܟ݂ ܘܥܰܠ ܕ݁ܰܢܩܰܘܶܐ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And they constrained him, and said to him, Abide with us, because the day now inclines to darken. And he went in to remain with them.

(Murdock) And they urged him, and said to him: Tarry with us, for the day inclineth towards dark. And he went in to remain with them.

(Lamsa) But they urged him and said, Remain with us; because the day is spent and it is near dark. So he entered to stay with them.

(KJV) But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
