Translations

(Etheridge) And all who heard reasoned in their hearts, and said, What is this child to be ? And the hand of the Lord was with him.

(Murdock) And all who heard, pondered them in their heart, and said: What will this child be ? And the hand of the Lord was with him.

(Lamsa) And all who heard it reasoned in their hearts, saying, What a boy he will be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

(KJV) And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.
