Translations

(Etheridge) Who hath looked upon the lowliness of his handmaid: For, behold, from now all generations shall give blessedness to me.

(Murdock) For he hath looked upon the humble condition of his hand maid; and lo, henceforth all generations will ascribe blessedness to me.

(Lamsa) For he has regarded the meekness of his handmaid; for behold, from henceforth, all generations shall envy me.

(KJV) For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
