Translations

(Etheridge) But first it will be that he shall suffer many (things), and be rejected of this generation.

(Murdock) But, previously, he is to suffer many things, and to be rejected by this generation.

(Lamsa) But first he must suffer a great many things, and be rejected by this generation.

(KJV) But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
