Translations

(Etheridge) And he was angry, and would not go in. And his father came forth and besought him.

(Murdock) And he was angry, and would not go in: and his father went out and entreated him.

(Lamsa) And he became angry and would not go in; so his father came out and besought him.

(KJV) And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
