Translations

(Etheridge) For that was the true Light that enlighteneth every man who cometh into the world.

(Murdock) The true light was that, which enlighteneth every man who cometh into the world.

(Lamsa) He was the true light, which lighteth every man who came into the world.

(KJV) That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
