Translations

(Etheridge) The example of the prophets take to you, my brethren, to prolong your spirits in your afflictions, them who have spoken in the name of the Lord.

(Murdock) For patience in your afflictions, my brethren, take to you the example of the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord.

(Lamsa) My brethren, take the prophets who have spoken in the name of the LORD, for an example of patience in your suffering.

(KJV) Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
