Translations

(Etheridge) And when the Jihudoyee had risen against me, I was constrained to call the appeal of Caesar; (yet) not as though I had in any thing to be the accuser of the sons of my people.

(Murdock) And, as the Jews withstood me, I was compelled to utter an appeal to Caesar; but not because I had any thing of which to accuse the people of my nation.

(Lamsa) But as the Jews stood against me I was obliged to appeal to Cµsar; not that I had anything of which to accuse my own people.

(KJV) But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.
