Translations

(Etheridge) But it hath happened to them according to the true proverb, that The dog hath turned unto his vomit; the sow which had washed into the wallow of the mire.

(Murdock) But the true proverb hath happened to them: the dog returneth to his vomit and the sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

(Lamsa) It will come to pass with them according to the true proverb, The dog returns to his own vomit, and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

(KJV) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
