Translations

(Etheridge) Aloha hath not put away his people whom from before he knew. Or know you not what he saith in the scripture concerning Elia, when he cried unto Aloha against Israel, saying,

(Murdock) God hath not cast off those his people whom he before knew. Do ye not know, what, in the scripture of God, he said to Elijah ? When he had complained to God against Israel, and said:

(Lamsa) God has not rejected his people which he foreknew. Do you not know what the scripture says of Elijah? How he complained to God against Israel, saying,

(KJV) God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
