Translations

(Etheridge) But they said, In Beth-lechem of Jehuda; for so it is written in the prophet:

(Murdock) And they said: In Bethlehem of Judaea; for thus it is written in the prophet:

(Lamsa) They said, In Bethlehem of Judah, for thus it is written in the book of the prophet:

(KJV) And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
