Translations

(Etheridge) And when the chief priests and Pharishee heard his comparisons, they knew that concerning themselves he had spoken.

(Murdock) And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his similitudes, they understood that he spoke in reference to them.

(Lamsa) When the high priests and Pharisees heard his parables, they understood that he was speaking against them.

(KJV) And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
