Translations

(Etheridge) And his disciples approached, saying to him, Why dost thou speak to them in parables ?

(Murdock) And his disciples came and said to him, Why discoursest thou to them in similitudes ?

(Lamsa) Then his disciples drew near to him and said, Why do you speak to them in parables?

(KJV) And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
