Luke 2:49 - ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢܐ ܒܥܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܠܝ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܒܝ ܘܠܐ ܠܝ ܕܐܗܘܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) He saith to them, Why have you sought me (elsewhere) ? Knew you not that (in) the house of my Father it behoveth me to be ?

(Murdock) He said to them: Why did ye seek me ? Do ye not know, that it behooveth me to be in my Father's house ?

(Lamsa) He said to them, Why were you looking for me? did you not know that I would be in the house of my Father?

(KJV) And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
