Translations

(Etheridge) But he was not the God of the dead, but of the living: for they all live unto him.

(Murdock) Now God is not [the God] of the dead, but of the living; for they all live to him.

(Lamsa) God is not the God of the dead but of the living; for all live to him.

(KJV) For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
