Translations

(Etheridge) And they signed to his father (to show) how he willed they should call him.

(Murdock) And they made signs to his father, how he would have him named.

(Lamsa) Then they made signs to his father, what he wanted to call him.

(KJV) And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
