Translations

(Etheridge) and said, Hail to thee, King of the Jihudoyee ! and struck him upon his cheeks.

(Murdock) and they said: Hail, king of the Jews! and smote him on his cheeks.

(Lamsa) And they said, Peace be to you, O king of the Jews! and they struck him on his cheeks.

(KJV) And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.
