Translations

(Etheridge) Our father Abraham, was he not by works justified, when he offered Ishok his son on the altar?

(Murdock) Abraham our father, was not he justified by works, in offering his son Isaac upon the altar ?

(Lamsa) Was not our father Abraham justified by works, when he raised Isaac his son upon the altar?

(KJV) Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
