Translations

(Etheridge) For it is said in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone choice ^{[Or, tried, bachirtho.]} and honourable in the head of the corner: whosoever believeth in him shall not be ashamed.

(Murdock) For it is said in the scripture, Behold, in Zion I lay a chosen and precious stone, for the head of the corner; and whoever believeth in him, will not be ashamed.

(Lamsa) For as it is said in the scriptures, Behold, I lay in Sion, a chief corner stone, approved, precious: and he who believes on him shall not be ashamed.

(KJV) Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
