Translations

(Etheridge) but, because of fornication, let a man take his wife, and let a woman take her husband.

(Murdock) But, on account of whoredom, let each have his own wife and let a woman have her own husband.

(Lamsa) Nevertheless, because of the danger of immorality, let every man cling to his own wife, and let every woman cling to her own husband.

(KJV) Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
