Translations

(Etheridge) Fornication is commonly reported among you; and such fornication as is not heard among the Heathens, that the son should take the wife of his father.

(Murdock) In short, it is reported, there is whoredom among you; and such whoredom as is not even named among the heathen, that a son should even take the wife of his father.

(Lamsa) IT is reported that immorality is com mon among you, and such immorality as is not known among pagans, that even a son should marry his father's wife.

(KJV) It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
